Eastpak Warranty

At Eastpak®, we rigorously test all our products to ensure that they meet stringent standards. Therefore, if a problem occurs with an Eastpak® product (the "Product") and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, we will, in our discretion, either fix or replace the Product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated here. This warranty applies only to the person who has purchased the Product or to the person who has received the Product as a gift.

Covered during the legal warranty term:

Only manufacturing and/or component defects are covered during the legal warranty term. This includes faulty zippers and buckles, fabric discoloration and coating peeling off.

  • Zipper tape damaged/worn
  • Zipper tape damaged/worn
  • Inside coating
  • Discoloration
Covered under the 30-year warranty:
Only manufacturing defects are covered by the 30-year warranty. This includes open seams or fabric that has been cut too short.
  • Broken zip puller
  • Broken zip slider (zipper tape not damaged)
  • Shoulder strap material
  • Fabric cut too short
  • Frayed/torn seams
  • Frayed/torn seams

What isn’t covered by the warranty?

The warranty policy does not cover damage caused by misuse (such as carrying heavy or unusual items), neglect, exposure to extreme temperatures or substances, water, and wear and tear.

  • Holes
  • Tears/cuts to fabric
  • Self repair
  • Worn wheels
  • Broken luggage handles

How long is my item covered by the warranty?

The warranty period of your item can be found on the internal care label. If no warranty period is visible on the label, the legal warranty term will be applied.

Please include your name, address, email and phone number (including area code) with the item along with a description of the problem. Please fill out the warranty return form (Click Here for the Warranty Return Form) and include a copy when you ship the product to be repaired. Products repaired or replaced under warranty will be returned free of charge.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
