CanadaJust right size, tough-built messenger bag
I'm very happy with this purchase! The inner lining is rubberized and waterproof. At first I was surprised by the bright fluorescent yellow color, but now i'm good with it, and it enables me to see into the bag with ease, especially in darker environments. I made some mods to the bag right away: carefully removed the childish plastic blue clips in the front (I'll never use them), and used a lighter to carefully melt the bottom 2/3 of each velcro strap, so that it doesn't engage anywhere near as strong as before, especially if the bag is not full of stuff. Trying to pull that velcro to get into the bag is difficult, and very loud! It scares people. Now with most of the hooks melted down, only a few engage with the felt, giving me enough security during my daily bus commute, while not scaring my colleagues when i open the bag, but still enabling a full velcro seal when the bag is full and the flap rides higher up the bag, engaging the top 1/3 of the velcro strap solidly. Overall, a great purchase! Oh, and it fits my 14" laptop no problem (where the actual width of the laptop is 13", with a 14" screen size measured diagonally).
